What is proof of work for a beginner?
Proof of work is an inspectable artifact that demonstrates what you can do and how you think. It can be a demo, analysis, design, research note, event, or contribution, as long as your role and result are clear.
What counts
The artifact does not need to be large or commercially successful. It needs to be real, attributable, and understandable.
- A working prototype with a short walkthrough
- A data analysis with sources and conclusions
- A documented contribution to an existing project
- An event or workshop with materials and reflection
What does not count yet
A course certificate, list of tools, or vague team claim may support your story, but none shows your contribution on its own. Add the artifact, your decisions, and evidence of the result.
