What is Kids Table?
Kids Table is a community where the next generation gains experience in AI, Bitcoin, and energy by contributing to real projects with peers, practitioners, and companies.
Who is Kids Table for?
Kids Table is designed primarily for people ages 18–25 who want to learn, build, contribute, or find collaborators across AI, Bitcoin, and energy. Companies and experienced practitioners can bring challenges or mentor.
Do I need technical experience?
No. There are useful roles in research, design, writing, operations, community, data, engineering, and more. We care about curiosity, follow-through, and being clear about what you know and want to learn.
What does it mean to build a real project?
A real project addresses a specific problem and produces an artifact another person can inspect. It might be software, research, analysis, design, documentation, an event, or a contribution to a larger initiative.
What is proof of work?
Proof of work is an inspectable artifact that shows what you can do and how you think. Strong proof explains the problem, your contribution, the result, and what you learned.
Does Kids Table guarantee a job or paid opportunity?
No. Kids Table creates ways to build experience, demonstrate work, and meet people. Participation does not guarantee employment, compensation, investment, or any other outcome.
Does it cost anything to join?
The founding application does not require payment. If a future program has a fee, the price and what it covers will be stated before anyone commits.
How are projects and challenges selected?
Kids Table prioritizes clearly scoped work with a real owner, a useful outcome, room for meaningful contribution, and expectations that can be stated honestly. Early projects are curated manually.
How does Kids Table handle safety and privacy?
Community standards, privacy expectations, and reporting principles are published on the Trust & Safety page. Application data is used for intake and matching and is not published as a public profile.
How can a company participate?
A company can bring a scoped challenge, host a workshop, offer practitioner feedback, support an event, or discuss talent needs. Start with the company intake page.
